ART DECO IN LA

argyle_at_night When it comes to Art Deco, LA is one city that embraces the style wholeheartedly.

Art Deco was a popular design movement from 1925 until the 1940’s.  At the time, the style was seen as elegant, glamorous, functional and modern.  The style is based on mathematical geometric shapes, but is considered eclectic because it draws its inspiration from a variety of sources.  Recently, Art Deco has experienced a revival, and appreciation for the style has soared.
